LaVonna Roth is an internationally known author, keynote speaker and consultant. Her passion is bridging neuroscience and education. Thousands of educators and students have benefited from her abundance of practical, applicable and down-to-earth strategies to the most common and frustrating issues in education. These strategies are a direct result from years of research, as well as, classroom and consulting experiences. Based out of the Tampa Bay, FL area, LaVonna enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She is committed to bettering others, so they can better themselves.
Brandon Gogue is highly creative and an engaging presenter who will streeeetch educators in their thinking on how to better engage students in the classroom. His “out of the box” approach and ideas have increased productivity and achievement with his own students. They relate to his examples and latch on to the points he is making.
Brandon graduated from University of South Florida (Go Bulls!) with a Bachelor’s degree in Education and he is working rigorously on his National Board Certification. He lives and breathes all things that help educators be more, guides students to do more, and believes in living life to the fullest!

Elisabeth Bostwick is a deeply passionate and highly engaging speaker who sparks inspiration within others. Educators glean from her authentic teaching experiences and genuine approach, as she connects as a classroom practitioner.

Elisabeth is driven to encourage students and educators to embrace how they S.H.I.N.E., and is committed to being an Ignite Your S.H.I.N.E.® Illuminator to transform school culture as she’s experienced the dramatic shift first hand.
Elisabeth holds a BS in elementary education and a MS.Ed in elementary education math and science. With 14 years of classroom experience, she also serves as grade level chairperson and has supported teachers as an instructional strategy coach.
As someone who avidly seeks alternative methods to innovate in the classroom and sustain systemic change, Elisabeth was named the lead PBS Digital Innovator in NY and also received the Empire Excellence in Teaching Award in 2016. Elisabeth is driven to inspire and support educators in their learning journey.
LaVonna serves as a Board Member of Florida ASCD and is a member of IRA, NSDC, ASCD, Society for Neuroscience, and the Learning & the Brain Society. She authored the interactive notebook, Brain-Powered Strategies to Engage All Learners (2012), and the seven book series Brain-Powered Lessons to Engage All Learners (2014).
LaVonna Roth has completed an undergraduate degree and two Master’s degrees.
LaVonna Roth has had the privilege of teaching 2nd through 8th grade, as well as serving several years as a Team Leader and Mentor Teacher. Much of LaVonna’s classroom success stemmed from how she managed her classroom and kept students engaged with effective hands-on lessons.
